Youth Council Elects New Members

Congratulations area seniors – especially our Youth Council graduating seniors Grace Martenson, Samantha Keup, and Emma Brist. Returning Youth Council members for the 2023-2024 school year will be Hannah Herzog, Carter Schmidt, and Lucy Walker. New members, incoming juniors, will be Josie Althoff, Isabella Horning, and Halle Olson. 
 
Youth Council members serve a two-year term and learn about leadership, philanthropy, and our community. Each spring the Youth Council awards at least $10,000 in grants to youth-serving area nonprofits.

Current Youth Council members met with the incoming junior members in May for an orientation and to plan summer activities. The Council even had the opportunity to try out the adaptive play equipment at Foundation Plaza.
