Brothers & Sisters Behind Bars (BSBB) is the featured local nonprofit for August.
All who know Stacy Hendricks know her faith in God fuels her in all she does as an active mom, wife, and community member. She is genuinely kind and resonates empathy for all those she meets.
So when asked to walk alongside her neighbors, especially those who at times are most difficult to love, Stacy once again drew on her faith to guide her.
Stacy, visited with KXLG’s News Director Steve Jurrens to discuss the evolution of Brothers & Sisters Behind Bars, where she has served as Executive Director for seven years. She shares how community is essential for those struggling with Substance Use Disorder and gives real-life lessons she has learned along the way as she walks with her clients on their recovery journey.
