The Watertown Area Community Foundation is proud to announce that Jerry Miller is the 12th annual Celebrate! Outstanding Volunteer of the Year. Through a grant from the Watertown Area Community Foundation, Miller earned the right to designate a $1,000 grant to a local charity. He chose to award $250 each to four organizations. The checks were distributed:

For the last 50 years, Miller has supported many organizations in our community with his time, talent and treasure. He has volunteered to serve in various ways, including on boards and committees and in other ways at his church, the Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce, Human Service Agency, Jenkins Living Center, Watertown Country Club, Prairie Lakes Health Care System, Feeding South Dakota, Meals on Wheels – the list goes on.

He continues to volunteer at Prairie Lakes Hospital, the Human Service Agency, Jenkins Living Foundation Board and at his church. Miller was nominated by William Malcom.
