The Area School Partnership Program at the Foundation awards grants annually for public education projects beyond the scope of the regular school budget.
School districts within approximately 30 miles of Watertown are eligible to apply. Foundation staff is available to advise regarding the appropriateness of a project for consideration.
Grant awards have supported classroom management software, supplementary equipment such as STEM kits, ranges and ovens, flexible classroom seating, sensory needs furnishings, and ukuleles. Area schools have also received grants for e-learning tools like Edpuzzle and technology tools including 3D printers, drones, robotics kits, tablets, video cameras, and reading decoders.
